Khulna division recorded 48 more Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours until Monday morning.
Besides, the division logged 1,642 fresh cases over the same period, according to the office of divisional director (health).
Of the deceased, 13 were from Khulna district, 12 from Jashore, nine from Kushtia, six from Jheniadah, three from Chuadanga, two from Bagerhat, and one each from Satkhira, Narail and Magura.
On Sunday, Covid-19 claimed 60 lives and infected 1,591 others in Khulna division.
The first case was detected in Chuadanga district of the division on March 19 last year.
As many as 73,192 people have contracted the disease and 1,641 others died of the deadly virus in the division so far.
