Nineteen more patients died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
Eight of the deceased tested positive for Covid-19, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, six hailed from Rajshahi, three each from Natore, Naogaon, and Pabna, two from Chapainawabganj, one each from Bogura and Sirajganj.
With newly admitted 63 patients, a total of 504 patients are undergoing treatment against 454 beds at the Covid unit, he added.
Some 76 pepole were discharged from the Covid unit in the last 24 hours after recovery.
