Fifteen more patients died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Friday morning.
Five of the deceased tested positive for Covid-19, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, 10 were from Rajshahi, two from Natore, one each from Naogaon, Pabna, and Meherpur.
As many as 497 patients, including 61 in the past 24 hours, are undergoing treatment at the Covid unit against 454 beds, according to the hospital sources.
Some 62 people were discharged from the unit over the same period after recovery.
