Eighteen more patients died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
“Of the deceased, four tested positive for Covid-19 while the rest showed Covid-like-symptoms,” said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, eight were from Rajshahi district, four from Natore, two each from Pabna and Chapainawabganj, and one each from Naogaon and Kushtia.
As many as 437 patients, including 45 in the past 24 hours, are undergoing treatment at the Covid unit against 454 beds, he added.
