Former lawmaker from Cox’s Bazar-4 (Ukhiya-Teknaf) constituency Abdur Rahman Bodi has tested positive for coronavirus.
His wife Shahin Akter, a current lawmaker from the same constituency, tested negative for coronavirus but was found Typhoid positive.
Bodi’s press secretary Engr Helal Uddin confirmed the news to The Business Post on Friday (June 19).
Badi has been taken to Dhaka.
As they both have symptoms of coronavirus, their samples were tested today, said Helal Uddin.
Shahin Akhter is now undergoing treatment at Cox’s Bazar Union Hospital.
