A total of 22 bodies of the victims of the Chattogram depot fire incident have been handed over to their families and relatives since Monday noon.
Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) authorities handed over the bodies, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman confirmed the matter.
“A total of 50 people were killed in the blast. The bodies of 22 people have been identified and handed over to their relatives,” the deputy commissioner said.
A team of experts has begun collecting DNA samples to identify the bodies. The body will be handed over after identification.
