A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed Md Mohibullah, alleged nayeb-e-ameer of newly-formed militant outfit Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya, on four-day remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim passed the order as police produced the accused before the court and pleaded to place him on a 10-day remand in the case filed with Demra Police Station.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on February 7 arrested 17 leaders and activists of the militant group. Earlier different law enforcement agencies arrested 38 members of the militant outfit.
