Chittagong University Mathematics Department Professor Dr Shafiul Alam Tarafdar died of Covid-19 infection Thursday night.
He was aged 54.
He died at Parkview Hospital in the city around 9:45pm on Thursday, said Prof Dr Aman Ullah, his colleague from the same department.
