A customs official died of coronavirus while undergoing treatment at a Dhaka hospital early Wednesday.
The deceased, Jashim Uddin Majumder, was a superintendent at the Chittagong Customs House.
Confirming the matter, public relations officer of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Syed A Momen said Jashim was undergoing treatment in intensive care unit (ICU) of the capital’s Anwer Khan Modern Hospital Limited where he died around 2:00am on Wednesday.
