Bangladesh reported 97 deaths in the 24 hours till 8:00 am on Monday, according to a release issued by the Director General of Health Services.
With today’s 97 deaths, the total death toll nows stands at 11,150.
The number of fresh infections increased slightly as 3,306 people tested positive for the deadly virus in the 24 hours. The number was 2,697 cases on Sunday.
Last 24 hours 4,241 people recovered from the deadly virus bringing the total number of recoveries to 66,16,93.
