Six of the ten patients who died of COVID-19 infection in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours were from Dhaka.
Professor Nasima Sultana, the additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the information at a regular health bulletin on Thursday.
She said of the deceased, one belonged to the age group of 71-80, five were between 61-70, three were between 51-60 and the other person aged between 21-30. Seven of the deceased were males and three were females, she added.
