The son and wife of Daily Shomoyer Alo journalist Humayun Kabir Khokon, who died from the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, also tested positive for the same virus.
The duo was being taken to Regent Hospital in capital’s Uttara area till filing of this report.
Khokon, the chief reporter of the Daily Shomoyer Alo, was admitted to Regent Hospital where he died Tuesday night.
Khokon is said to be the first journalist in the country to have died from the novel coronavirus.
