The depression over south-west Bay of Bengal and adjoining area moved west-northwestwards at 6am on Saturday.
“It is likely to move west-southwestwards afterwards,” the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a special bulletin.
All fishing boats and trawlers over the north Bay and deep sea have been advised not to venture into the depression area.
