The government officials who were reportedly deprived of promotion and service benefits in the last 15 and half years can appeal to the government by October 3 for compensation.
The Public Administration Ministry on Tuesday issued a notification signed by its Additional Secretary (appointment, promotion and deputation wing) Md Abdur Rauf in this regard, reports BSS.
According to the decision of the committee formed by the government to review appeals of the government officials under the Ministry of Public Administration who were deprived of their services from 2009 to August 4, 2024, and who went to retirement during this period, the deadline has been extended till October 3 for submitting appeals to make appropriate recommendations in this regard, said the notification.
Earlier, on September 24, the ministry urged the deprived officials to apply for senior secretary of the ministry with due attention to the additional secretary (appointment, promotion and deputation wing).
