ADP implementation 8-year low

The first three months of the ongoing fiscal year had the lowest implementation of the annual development program (ADP) in at least the last eight years.

In the July to September period of FY2023-24, only 7.50 per cent ADP was implemented. This low level of ADP in the first quarter was implemented in FY2015-16. In that period only 6.74 per cent of ADP of the total ADP budget was implemented.

Data from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) shows that since FY2015-16, the ADP implementation rate has always been above 8 per cent.

Compared with the ADP implementation in the month of September the previous year FY it was 1.04 per cent lower this year.
