After a long hiatus of about 18 months due to Covid pandemic, Dhaka-Kuwait direct flights finally resumed on Thursday.
According to the schedule, the first flight left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for the gulf country at 3:30am.
Direct flights between Kuwait and five other countries, including Bangladesh, remained suspended due to the pandemic situation.
Kuwait has allowed direct flights with the countries after the situation came under control.
