Bangladesh is all set to kickstart Covid-19 vaccination programme as a consignment of 50 lakh purchased vaccine doses will arrive in the capital city on January 25.
Health Secretary Md Abdul Mannan made the disclosure to the media on Wednesday.
He said in the first phase, people will be vaccinated at four hospitals in Dhaka.
60 lakh people will get jabbed in the first month, he added.
A group of 25 people including frontline fighters will be given the jabs at Kurmitola General Hospital to mark the inauguration, added the secretary further.
