The Dhanmondi Society organised and conceptualised the yearly "Dhanmondi Walk" programme on Friday.
The programme was hosted in the city's Dhanmondi residential area, a press release said.
The walk started from the Baitul Aman Mosque on Dhanmondi Road 7 around 7:15am and ended on Dhanmondi Road 27.
Members taking part in the programme held placards to raise awareness about several issues affecting the residential area.
Dhanmondi Society President Abu Mohammad Sabur and Vice-President Liaquat Hussain (Milon) were present, among others, on the occasion.
Formed in February this year, Dhanmondi Society has already organised more than 30 programmes, including several cleaning drives in the locality.
