State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Md Enamur Rahman said this on Wednesday while inaugurating “Emergency Operational Dashboard” in the city.
This online dashboard will give an overview of the pre-disaster preparedness. Also, it will facilitate emergency relief and other services after the disaster.
The dashboard will also preserve disaster-related information of different areas based on geographical location, Enamur said.
“Assistance can be sent quickly during natural disasters if accurate information is available about disaster management resources. I hope the dashboard will help bridge the information gap.”
