A discussion meeting on ‘Islamic Revolution in Iran and its New Message’ was held at Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium of Faculty of Social Sciences Building, University of Dhaka on Saturday.
Cultural Centre of the Embassy of Iran in Dhaka arranged the meeting on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran (National Day).
Liberation War Affairs A K M Mozammel Huq was present as chief guest while Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University of Iran Dr Ali Abbasi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangladesh Mansour Chavoshi, Faculty of Social Sciences Dean Dr Zia Rahman, University of Dhaka were present as special guests while Persian Language & Literature Department Professor Dr K M Saiful Islam Khan, University of Dhaka and Bangladesh Islamic Foundation Board of Governors member Maolana Dr Mohammad Kafiluddin Sarker Salehi were present as guests of honour.
Cultural Counsellor of Iranian embassy in Bangladesh Seyed Reza Mirmohammadi presided over the meeting.
