Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 934 cases and realised Tk 35,90,500 as fines in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
The cases were filed and fines imposed on September 30, a press release said on Tuesday, reports BSS.
During the drive, a total of 118 vehicles were impounded and 117 others were towed. The DMP release further said these drives will continue to bring discipline to Dhaka's streets.
