Twelve officers of the rank of additional deputy police commissioner (ADC) and one officer of the rank of assistant police commissioner (AC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred.
The reshuffle came through a notification issued Saturday, signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam.
Police officer Md Enamul Haque Mithu has been transferred to Pirojpur in-service training centre; Rubaiyat Zaman to Sunamganj in-service training centre; Md Rafiqul Islam to APBN; Mohammad Alauddin to APBN; Mirza Salahuddin to Rajshahi Sardar BPA; SM Jahangir Hasan to Naval Police; and Mohammad Shahidul Islam to Industrial Police.
In addition, Masuk Mia has been transferred to Railway Police; Kazi Maqsuda Lima to Tangail PTC; Badruzzaman Zillu to Kushtia In-service training centre; Khandkar Rabiul Arafat to RAB; Md Ilyach Hossain to Rangpur Range DIG Office; and Assistant Commissioner of Police Mahfuzur Rahman to Rajshahi Sardar BPA.
