DNCC, BRTA fine Tk 38,500 for violating road regulation

Dhaka North City Corporation and Bangladesh Road Transport Authority Sunday jointly conducted an operation and fined Tk 38,500 in 12 separate cases under road rationalisation.

The operation was conducted in the capital’s Mohammadpur’s Bosila bridge area.

Of the total 12 cases, DNCC magistrate Motaqabbir Ahmed fined vehicles worth Tk 25,000 in 3 separate cases for car fitness and for not having route permit and tax token.

Besides, BRTA deputy magistrate Fakhrul Islam fined 13,500tk in 9 separate cases.

Other officials of BRTA and DNCC were present during the operation.
