Professor Dr Md Robed Amin has been appointed as the acting director general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Before this announcement, he was serving as the line director of this directorate’s NCDC project.
A notification issued on Sunday, and signed by Health Services Division Assistant Secretary (Personnel 2) MK Hasan Zahid, added that BCS health cadre Professor Dr Robed Amin (41392) has been transferred to the post of DGHS director general (acting), effective immediately.
Earlier the same day, by order of the president, a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Kaniz Fatema stated that the contractual appointment as DGHS director general Prof Dr Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam has been terminated, and he has been relieved of his duties.
