Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted dry weather over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on today.
"Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued here this morning.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall by one to two degree Celsius over the country, the bulletin added.
Maximum temperature of the country on Thursday was recorded 34 degree Celsius in Cox's Bazar under Chattogram division while today's minimum temperature was 14.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5:14 pm today and rises at 6:12 am tomorrow in the capital.
