Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather across the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today (Friday).
“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a met office bulletin issued this morning.
It said rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna division.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 34 degrees Celsius in Rangamati, while today’s minimum temperature was 18.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Panchagarh district.
The sun sets at 6:06 pm today and rises at 6:09 am tomorrow in the capital.
