The met office on Monday predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the north-western part of the country and also over the river basins. Light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning," said a met office release in Dhaka.
Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 27.5 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was recorded 10 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi.
The sun will set at 5:25pm on Tuesday and rise at 6:42am on Wednesday in the capital.
