Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Additional Chief Waste Management Advisor Khandaker Millatul Islam has died from the novel coronavirus infection.
He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on the evening of Friday (April 24), said DSCC Public Relations Officer Uttam Kumar Roy.
Khandaker Millatul Islam was buried at Banani Graveyard the same day, he added.
The Covid-19 test report delivered by the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Saturday (April 25) showed him positive, the PRO said further.
