Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) on Thursday opened a control room to supplement the efforts for containing the outbreak of the dengue disease.
DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh formally inaugurated the control room at a function at the Nagar Bhaban.
He said the control room will monitor the overall activities of the city corporation to destroy breeding grounds of Aedes mosquito, which eventually will contribute to combating the mosquito-borne disease.
