Most sectors, led by IT, insurers, and banks ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 12.50 points or 0.18 per cent to 6,643.
Shariah-based DSES index lost 3.34 points or 0.23 per cent to 1,443, while the blue-chip index DS30 decreased by 7.19 points or 0.29 per cent to 2,453.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 468 crore, down from Tk 869 crore.
Of the issues traded, 142 advanced, 187 declined, and 51 remained unchanged.
