A Dhaka University (DU) student died after falling from the rooftop of Jagannath Hall's Shantoshchandra Bhattacharya Bhabhan on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Limon, 20, a third-year student of the Institute of Education and Research.
“Hearing a loud sound, students went to the spot and rushed Limon to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 10:00am. The doctors there declared him dead on arrival,” confirmed Jagannath Hall Provost Mihir Lal Saha.
Also confirming the matter, Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost, said, "How he fell from the rooftop is still unknown."
However, it has not been confirmed yet whether he committed suicide or not.
