Educational institutions to remain closed if Omicron cases surge: Dipu Moni

Educational institutions will be kept closed if Omicron cases surge, said Education Minister Dipu Moni.

“We are monitoring the situation. We are ready to do anything to ensure the safety of our children," the minister said while inspecting the HSC examination centre at Government Shahid Suhrawardy College in Dhaka on Thursday.

She also expressed hopes that there will be no need to close the educational institutions.
