Egypt greets president, PM on Independence Day

Chamberlain of the Egyptian Presidency Mohamed Mokhtar on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Bangladesh to Egypt Samina Naz on behalf of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

Mokhtar conveyed sincere greetings of the Egyptian president to the president and prime minister of Bangladesh, and all people of the country on the occasion of 54th Independence Day of Bangladesh.

Ambassador Naz welcomed the chamberlain and expressed happiness to receive greetings from the president of Egypt.

She stated, “It has been an absolute honour to receive the greetings of President Sisi. I will convey the warm greetings to the president and prime minister of Bangladesh.

“The good wishes from a great friend and a sisterly country Egypt would add much more glory to the celebration of the Independence Day of Bangladesh on 26 March.”
