Former director of the Eastland Insurance Company Limited Nasiruddin Ahmed died on Sunday. He was 90.
He breathed his last at 4:53 pm at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
He retired as the General Manager of Mitsui & Company in the late '70s.
Late Ahmed is the eldest brother of Mahbubur Rahman, president of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – Bangladesh.
His namaj-e-janaza will be held on Monday at Ramna Thana Jame Masjid after Zohr prayer. Later, he will be laid to rest in the Banani Graveyard.
He left behind his wife, four daughters, grand-children.
