Police found the body of Hafiza Khatun, 32, from an NGO office where her husband used to work at Taraganj in Rangpur.
The deceased Hafiza Khatun is the wife Nur Alam, office assistant of Brac’s Damodar branch office at Burir Hat Bazar.
Faruk Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Taraganj police, told The Business Post that being tipped-off they rushed to the spot and found her dead.
“Later, we sent her body to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy. We would be able to know that if it was a murder or suicide case after examining the autopsy report,” he added.
A case of unnatural death has been filed in this regard.
