The Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) on Thursday completed the registration of its permanent office through a ceremony at its office at Purana Paltan in the capital.
ERFPresident Saiful Islam Dilal andManagingDirector of Abed Holdings Limited AKM Barkatullah signed the documents on behalf of their respective organisations.
ERF's GeneralSecretary SM Rashidul Islam said the ERF purchased 4,960 squarefeetspace at Paltan Tower in Purana Paltan on August 6, 2018 at a cost of Tk4.34crore toset upits permanent office.
"The government, Bangladesh Bank and many financial institutions have supported us to purchase the space," he told UNB.
ERF'sformer presidents Shamsul Huq Zahid, Monowar Hossain, Zakaria Kajal, Nazmul Ahsan, Khawaza Main Uddin, Sultan Mahmud Badal, itsVice-President Syed Shahnewaz Karim, former general secretary Shahiduzzaman, Badiul Alam and Ziaur Rahman were present, among others, on the occasion.
