An ethnic class V student has allegedly been raped at Salbari Sallapara village in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi district.
The miscreants raped the girl after tying her younger brother to a tree with rope on Saturday.
A case was filed with Tanore Police Station on Saturday night.
The incident came to light on Sunday night as police sent the girl to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital for a medical test.
According to the case statement, the girl along with her 10-year-old brother, students of Chak Rahmat Government Primary School, went to a field, a half kilometre away from their house, to cut grass on Saturday.
At one stage, Jony, 32, son of Manirul Islam and Ali, 36, son of Abul Kalam, appeared there.
Later, they violated the girl in turns after tying the boy to a tree and putting a scarf into the mouth of the boy.
She was rescued with the help of local people at night.
Abdur Rahim, officer-in-charge of Tanore Police Station, said police are trying to arrest the rapists.
