Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) former vice-president Nurul Haque Nur has formally announced the launch of his political party ‘Gana Adhikar Parishad’ on Tuesday.
In a press briefing at Dhaka’s Paltan area, Nur announced himself as member secretary, and former Gono Forum general secretary Dr Reza Kibria as convenor of the new party.
Nur told the media that his party plans to contest in all 300 seats in the next parliamentary elections.
