Former finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, younger brother of Muhith, confirmed the matter to The Business Post on Tuesday, saying his Covid-19 test came out positive on July 25.
The 87-year old had been feeling sick for the last few days. However, he currently has no physical complications and therefore is undergoing treatment at his residence, Momen added.
The foreign minister further said the former minister had received both the Covid-19 vaccine doses and is under home quarantine as per his physician's consultation.
