Detectives in a drive arrested Awami League Leader and former lawmaker Abdus Sobhan Miah Golap from Dhaka's Tejkunipara on Sunday.
A DB official requesting anonymity confirmed the arrest. Golap was arrested around 2pm in a case filed against him, the DB official said.
Golap was the former parliamentary member of Madaripur-3 constituency. He is publicity and publications secretary of Awami League.
