Bangladesh Association of Los Angeles (BALA) donated essential goods worth $4,000 and $3,000 in cash to the earthquake-hit people of Turkey.
The BALA made the donation at recent virtual meeting presided over by its President Syed M Hossain Babu while it was attended, among others, by Maqsuda Yasamin, Zayedul Mahmud Jami, Rabeya Zahid, Dr Mohammad Sirajullah, and Zillur Rahman Niru.
Leaders of the BALA expressed their gratitude and thanks to all the people inside and outside the organisation who have extended their hand of cooperation to make the proposed decision a reality and in the future also in such cases.
They also expressed their commitment to extend the hand of cooperation on behalf of the organisation.
