The High Court (HC) administration has sent a letter to the Public Works Department (PWD) to give logistics support as per demand to develop necessary infrastructure to ensure and maintain health directives at all lower courts across the country.
Golam Rabbani, registrar of the High Court Division sent the letter to the Chief Engineer of the PWD on Monday (July 20) in this regard.
The letter said, “As per the direction by the Supreme Court, all the subordinate courts and tribunals are conducting judicial activities across the country maintaining safe physical distance following Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) directives.”
“To prevent further spread of Covid-19 and ensure the maintenance of health directives, It is needed to take necessary initiatives and infrastructural development in courtrooms and court buildings across the country,” it added.
