A fire that broke out at a factory located at Ashulia’s Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) in Savar on Saturday evening, has been brought under control.
The fire erupted at Packzer Bangladesh Ltd and firefighters received the information of the fire around 6:50pm, said the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Seven firefighting units rushed to spot and tamed the blaze around 11:20pm, it said.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
