Mahbubul Alam has been newly elected president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
He is currently serving the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) as its president.
A senior vice president and six vice presidents of the apex trade body have also been elected.
The FBCCI election board on Wednesday announced the names of the office bearers of the trade body.
