Eminent journalist, one of the organizers of Liberation War, former DUCSU VP and Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Dr Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi passed away on Monday afternoon. Innanillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.
He breathed his last this afternoon at his daughters residence.
His wife Nilufar Panna confirmed the news to The Business Post.
This veteran politician was also the publisher of the paper ‘Desh Bangla’, which raised voice in favour of our Independence during 1971.
