A fire that broke out at the building of Bangladesh Bank in Dhaka’s Motijheel on Monday evening, has completely been doused.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
The fire erupted at the central storeroom of the bank’s medical centre housed on the third floor of the 30-storey building, said the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Being alerted to the incident at 6:25pm, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and put out the blaze around 7:25pm, it said.
The fire might have originated from electrical faults, the media cell added.
