A fire that broke out at a plastic factory in the Chawkbazar area of Old Dhaka in the early hours of Tuesday has been doused completely.
The firefighters were alerted to the incident at 6:14am, according to the Media Cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 7:10am, it said.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
