A fire that broke out on the third floor of Golden Plaza, opposite to Bangabazar Shopping Complex in Dhaka, has been doused.
Firefighters were alerted to the incident at 8:40pm on Monday, and the first unit reached the spot at 8:41pm, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Five firefighting units put out the blaze at 9:45pm, it said.
No casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
