A fire broke out at a readymade garment factory in Kamalapur area of the capital city early Sunday.
The fire originated on the 6th floor of ‘Oli garments’ adjacent to BRTC bus depot around 7:40am, said sources.
10 units of firefighters rushed to the spot and managed to douse the blaze after one and a half hours of frantic efforts, Ershad Hossain, an official at the Fire Service headquarters, told the media.
However, he couldn’t confirm the reason behind the fire.
No casualty was reported over the fire incident.
