A fire broke out at a garment factory in Narayanganj's Fatullah on Thursday evening.
Md Rayhan, Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer, said the fire originated at Foptex Pvt Ltd, also known as Fair Garment, at around 6:00pm.
He said 11 fire fighting units were trying to bring the fire under control.
No casualties were immediately reported and the cause of the fire could not be ascertained yet, he said.
